Before & After School

Our School Year Before and After School Program sites are open from 6:30 am - 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.  Our BEST Academy site will be open after school only from school dismissal to 6:00pm.  The school year starts 8/12/24 and runs through 5/30/25.

The following are our rates:

• Non-refundable registration fees of $50 per year per family and the non-refundable first week’s fee of $70 per week per child are due upon registration. BEST Academy's rate for its after school program is $40.00 per week per child with a registration fee of $30 for a single child or $40 if registering more than 1 child.
• Upon the start of the program, weekly fees are due the Friday before the week of service. If payment is not received by the due date, a late fee of $25.00 per child will be charged.
• The  weekly fee reserves your child’s spot in the program whether or not your child attends and is due every Friday of your child's enrollment period, except for Thanksgiving, Winter or Spring Breaks.
• Each program year, the child is allowed two (2) weeks of "vacation" where fees will not be charged.  Vacation Weeks are non-transferable and expire at the end of the school year.  To use a "vacation" week your child may not attend any day in a single week (Monday-Friday) 
• Parent/Guardian is required to notify their Unit Director of absences in advance.
• Professional Days, In-Service Days and Holidays the Club is open but School is closed are an additional $15 per day, per child. School Breaks, including Thanksgiving, Winter and Spring are an additional fee that will be posted. Children must be signed up for Professional Days, In-Service Days, Holidays and School Breaks.  Sign up sheets will be available at the site starting approximately 3 weeks prior.

The vast majority of our communications with you will be via email.  Please make sure to read our emails. 

Please note, that if the Hernando County School Board closes schools during inclement weather or other emergencies, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hernando County must also close as we are hosted on their school sites.

Please click on the Unit you wish to enroll your child in to be taken to the registration form for that site.  You will receive a confirmation email from your Member Account Rep within 3 work days. 

You will make payment of the registration and first week's fee below using the "Pay Registration and First Week's Fee" link.  If payment of the registration fee and first week's fee are not made, your registration will be deleted.  DO NOT PAY THROUGH PROCARE.  We will not be checking your Procare account for payment of these fees.
