The Boys & Girls Club of Hernando County is proud to serve approximately 1300 children per year. We have 10 School Age (or Before & After) sites and 6 Preschool.
Our School Age sites are:
- Westside Unit
- Fox Chapel Unit
- Winding Waters Unit
- Brooksville Unit
- Moton Unit
- Eastside Unit
- West Hernando Unit
- J.D. Floyd Unit (to open Summer 2019)
- Spring Hill Unit (to open August 2019)
- Be Great Suncoast
Each unit is located at an Elementary, K-8, or Middle School in Hernando County and is named after that school. You can find specific information on each site, and a link for our on-line membership application on each Unit's page. At this time, we provide Bus Service to Deltona Elementary School and Explorer K-8 with those members attending our Westside Unit. If committed demand is high enough, we may look into expanding our Bus Service in the future.

Our School Age sites are open from 6:30am - 6:00pm, Monday thru Friday. During Hernando County School Professional Days and some Holidays we are open at our Westside Unit and one other Unit, usually either Moton or Brooksville, located in the Brooksville area. If you are a currently enrolled Member, you may register for Professional Days, Winter & Spring Break on-line. If you are not a member, you must first complete a Membership Application and then you may register for those days.
For the 2018-2019 School Year we are closed the following days:
- Thursday & Friday, November 22nd and 23rd
- Tuesday, December 25th
- Tuesday, January 1st
- Monday, May 27th

Please note, that if the Hernando County School Board closes schools during inclement weather or other emergencies, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Hernando County must also close as we are hosted on their school sites.
